Officials confirm one dead after shooting at residence on Anne Street Tuesday night

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting that happened Tuesday evening in Goose Creek.

Officers with the Goose Creek Police Department responded to a residence on Anne Street just after 4:30 p.m. after 9-1-1 received a call about shots being fired.

The caller also told dispatchers that there was a male victim who was bleeding.

When officers arrived, they located a 23-year-old male who had been shot and was unresponsive, according to Capt. James Brown with Goose Creek PD.

He said the man was taken to Trident Hospital where he was declared dead. Their identity has not yet been released.

Police say there is no suspect information. Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call Criminal Investigator D. Gallucio at (843)863-5200 ext. 2338.
