Suspect was taken into custody after deputies receive tip

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Deputies received a phone call about a possible wanted suspect on Ridge church Road in Summerville.

According to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived at the home where several individuals were located in the home.

Deputies began to sweep the interior of the home to search for Charles Kenneth Little. During the sweep, deputies noticed Little was located in the laundry room and he was taken into custody without incident.

Officials stated that during a search of Little, Deputies located a crystal-like substance that field tested positive for Methamphetamine, it had an approximate weight of 20 grams. Deputies also located a green leafy plant-like material that field tested positive for Marijuana and it had an approximate weight of 4.2 grams. 

Little was transported to the Hill-Finklea Detention Center and served with the following arrest warrants: Unlawful Carrying of a Pistol, Evading Arrest, Possession of Marijuana, Failure to Stop for Blue Lights, Two counts of Trafficking Meth, Driving Under Suspension, Giving False Information to Law Enforcement and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
