BJ's donates $50k to Lowcountry Food Bank for Meals for Kids

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) - BJ’s Wholesale Club is presenting a $50,000 donation from the BJ’s Charitable Foundation to the Lowcountry Food Bank, according to the news release.

BJ’s donation will provide fresh, nutritious food to children across the region through Lowcountry Food Bank’s Hunger-Free Summer Programs, spokesman Sebastian Hale stated.  

BJ's team members will volunteer and provide additional healthy snacks and fresh food to children throughout the summer to help put an end to hunger in the region, Hale said.
