CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Thursday night the Charleston County Finance Committee approved the 2019 CTC road resurfacing project.

The CTC 2019 resurfacing project is a road project that will cost taxpayers nearly four million dollars. The project is funded through the state gas tax.

The project consists of traffic control, milling, surface preparation, asphalt resurfacing, fine grading, full-depth reclamation, striping and associated appurtenances of 26 miles of various local paved roadways within the boundaries of Charleston County.

Several roads in Charleston, Mount Pleasant, North Charleston, West Ashley and more will be impacted by this resurfacing project. Officials say construction will begin late summer 2019. For a full list of roads that will be impacted, click here.
