FOLLY BEACH, S.C. (WCBD) – An alligator was seen enjoying some alone time at Folly Beach on Thursday.

According to Folly Beach Public Safety, the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) was contacted and said to “let nature run its course.”

DNR advised that wildlife sightings on normally packed beaches will be much more common now that the beaches are closed.
