CCSO investigating death at Oak Plantation Campground

JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) on Wednesday responded to a death at the Oak Plantation Campground.

CCSO arrived at the location on the 3500 block of Savannah highway around 3:00 p.m.

The investigation is active, and at this time CCSO says that they do not suspect foul play.

There is no information on the cause of death or identity of the victim at this time.
