CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston Police Department is going pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

According to CPD, the department is working with the American Cancer Society to raise money for Breast Cancer awareness and research through their Real Men Wear Pink Campaign.

Charleston officers will wear pink patches to support breast cancer awareness through October.

Chief Reynolds and CPD officers sported additional pink accessories on Wednesday for the American Cancer Society’s Power of Pink Day.
