UPDATE: The road has reopened as of 5:10 p.m.

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – The Mount Pleasant Police Department (MPPD) is working to clear a collision on Highway 17 North at Belk Drive.

As of 4:50 p.m. Friday, two lanes were closed.

MPPD said that a tow truck was on scene and officers are working to get the roadway cleared.
