Deputies investigating drive-by shooting on James Island

JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities are investigating a drive-by shooting that happened late Friday night on James Island.

Deputies with the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office say an unknown person shot toward a residence from a moving vehicle in the 900 block of Yorktown Drive.

The residence was damaged by gun fire, no injuries were reported.

Deputies are investigating the incident.
