Deputies searching for stolen trailer containing pesticide cylinders

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) –  The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help on searching for Enclosed Utility Trailer.

The trailer is a black, 2015 Pro-Line 7 x 16 dual axle trailer, according to Public Information Officer Roger Antonio. The trailer contains 20 gray 100lb cylinders containing Methyl Bromide. 

The news release stated that Methyl Bromide is a highly regulated pesticide. It is extremely flammable, fatal if inhaled, and serious skin and eye irritant. If you locate the trailer/cylinders, please notify local Law Enforcement immediately.

Officials advise people to keep a safe distance; do not attempt to open the trailer and do not touch or inspect the cylinders. 
 
The trailer was stolen from 7198-7398 block of Old Jacksonboro Road in Ravenel, SC on or about May 12th.
