Isle of Palms to discuss plans for replacing docks at the marina

Charleston County News

ISLE OF PALMS, S.C. (WCBD) – The Isle of Palms Ways and Means Committee is discussing whether or not they are going to replace the marina docks in the city.

If the committee decides to move forward with the project, the city would have to pay $750,000 to replace the dock.

The earliest the construction could start would be fall or winter of 2020.

At Tuesday night’s meeting, they will discuss where they will get that money from—either from the revenue bond secured with tourism money or marina rentals.
