MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – The traffic headache along Coleman Boulevard as road improvements continue is something many drivers face every day.
On Wednesday, the Town of Mount Pleasant’s Planning Commission is discussing potential re-zoning and building plans.
The town will discuss three requests to rezone and change the building height plan map for Coleman and a plan to create a more active and pedestrian-friendly environment.
They are also requesting to amend the building height plan map to integrate a multi-story plaza along Coleman.
That proposal includes having retail spaces on the first floor and more private spaces on the other floors like residences or offices.
Mount Pleasant’s Planning Commission will discuss and vote on this during their meeting Wednesday night at the municipal complex.
