NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Police responded to Northwoods Mall on Saturday afternoon for reports of a shooting, which turned out to be a smash-and-grab instead.
The North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) said someone conducted a smash-and-grab at a jewelry case inside the mall, and that no shots had actually been fired.
No other details were provided at the time.
