Charleston County News

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston County Aviation Authority has voted to rename the terminal at the Charleston International Airport as the Ernest Fritz Hollings Terminal.

Hollings was a former U.S. Senator and Governor of South Carolina. He passed away earlier this month.

The Aviation Authority wants to ensure Hollings’s impact on aviation is honored at the state’s largest airport.
