SC Floodwater Commission to meet Friday at Charles Towne Landing

CHARLESTON, SC (WCBD) – The South Carolina Floodwater Commission is scheduled to meet Friday at Charles Towne Landing in West Ashley.

Governor Henry McMaster, who created the commission to identify short and long term mitigation solutions for low-lying and coastal areas, is expected to speak at that meeting.

The commission will help coordinate efforts between local, state and federal agencies.
