CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A downtown roadway has reopened following an auto-pedestrian crash early Thursday morning.
According to the Charleston Police Department, the collision happened just after 6:00 a.m. on Morrison Drive.
Surrounding roads were closed for several hours while first responders worked the scene.
Police say the pedestrian involved in the crash was transported to the Medical University of South Carolina in critical condition.
