Whirlin’ Waters closed Monday due to water main break

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Whirlin’ Waters waterpark will be closed to guests Monday because of a water main break.

According to Charleston County Parks said crews have begun working to fix the leak as soon as possible.

The leak started under a concrete path in the park and was noticed by staff early Monday morning when the water was gushing up from the pavement.

We’re told that break did not affect any of the rides or slides, just the bathrooms.

The remainder of Wannamaker County Park is not affected by this closure and remains open as scheduled, with access to water.

Charleston County Parks hope to have the waterpark re-opened to guests on Tuesday.
