Charleston County Public Library is offering kids cooking demonstrations; reading opportunities

Kids Kitchen and Cook with Us Programs
This program gives kids and adults to opportunity to experience how to make healthy and delicious foods this summer through various cooking demonstrations. This is in partnership with the Lowcountry Foodbank and will be featured through the Charlie Cart.
The first kickoff event is on Monday, June 3rd, from four to five p.m. at the John’s Island Regional Library. Programs run through June and July at a number of branches system-wide. 
Charleston County Public Library Summer Reading Kickoff
The library is kicking off the summer with a reading program at their main library on Saturday, June 8th from 10 a.m. until one p.m. 
The library will feature new learning toys, and you can enjoy activities from this year’s Summer Reading sponsors.
Sticky Fingers is providing some delicious BBQ to eat while watching your friends and family members try to hit the target on the dunk tank.
