CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston County School District would like to welcome Christine Zamboki as the director of Early Learning.
Zamboki has been a CCSD administrator for the past six years serving at North Charleston Creative Arts and most recently at James B. Edwards, according to officials. She began her career as a primary teacher at Burns Elementary and Stono Park Elementary.
“Ms. Zamboki comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience that makes her a great fit for this position. Her work with assisting and implementing the preschool program at a new school afforded her the full-spectrum view,” says Ruth Taylor, Executive Director for Early Learning. “Her skill set, professionalism, and passion are what we need to continue this very important work.”
The news release stated that she has also served as a Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports coach and behavior interventionist, and has completed principal development programs offered through the district.
Zamboki holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from the College of Charleston and a master’s in Elementary Education Administration and Supervision.
