CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD)- Firefighters responded to a fire at a downtown hotel on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Charleston Fire Department, the fire happened at the Hampton Inn Hotel on Meeting Street.
Officials have not released the cause of the fire but said the building’s sprinkler system was activated and extinguished the fire.
No injuries were reported.
