A military plane made an unplanned stop Friday afternoon at a local airport.
A representative with Tennessee’s 134th Air Guard confirmed a C-17 plane from the 315th airlift wing in Charleston, South Carolina made an unscheduled landing at McGhee Tyson Airport around noon Friday.
Major Wayne Capps with the 315th airlift wing in Charleston says the plane had to make an emergency landing due to a pressurization issue.
There were no injuries but an ambulance was called out of an abundance of caution.
The airplane landed safely upon arrival.
