Sunday night, the Charleston Police Department issued an alert for a man wanted in connection to a downtown assault.

Christopher Lamar Price, 30, faces a charge of aggravated assault.

Police say the incident happened around 2 a.m. on August 19 in the area of 28 Ann Street.
