CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – You can find plenty on the menu for Charleston Restaurant Week.
“We’ve got our quinoa salad, a new cobb salad which is going to be a new addition to the menu, as well as our house-made ‘spatzel,'” said John Stanton, Asst. General Manager at Bay Street Biergarten.
Those who have attended Restaurant Week say it’s always been a great event.
“It’s just been great to get out in the community and have so many restaurants that you want to try. You know they’re out there and you just want to be able to experience them all,” said Sam Burrow.
The 12-day Charleston Restaurant Association event features eateries from across the Lowcountry. You can find deals anywhere from North Charleston to downtown, Isle of Palms to Johns Island, up to Summerville, and everywhere in between.
At Bay Street Biergarten,they’ve participated for the past few years. They say it adds to a boost in business and helps them meet the community they serve.
“We love having anybody who’s visiting or who just moved here come in, especially when we get to showcase that more creative side of our menu,” Stanton said.
You can find special deals and promotions, as well as brand new menu items.
“I always look forward to seeing what the guys in the back come up with. It’s really cool stuff that they do,” Stanton said.
This year, it’ll be partnered with Charleston Beer Week, meaning you can check out some drinks at a few of the restaurants.
