CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD)- The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office arrested Julius Jones in connection to a James Island burglary in September.

According to court records, deputies believe Jones entered a woman’s home on Woodland Shores Road overnight on September 25th and stole her purse and credit cards. The victim’s bank alerted her the credit card was used at a nearby Circle K gas station. Detectives checked the security footage from the gas station and say it showed Jones using the credit card within an hour of the reported burglary. During the investigation, deputies found the credit card was charged $127.07 for cigarettes and $32.87 for gasoline.

The US Marshals Task Force assisted the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office in the arrest of Jones. He is charged with Burglary First Degree and Financial Transaction Card Fraud.
