Deputies seeking public’s help after Jeep Wrangler stolen from Pawleys Island home

PAWLEYS ISLAND, SC (WCBD) – Deputies are seeking the public’s help in identifying two people who are suspected of stealing a Jeep Wrangler from a home on Pawleys Island early Monday morning.

According to the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office, two suspects stole a red 2008 two-door Jeep Wrangler from a home on Parkside Drive near the intersection of Petigru Drive and Martin Luther King Road.

The suspects are described as two African-American men between the ages of 16 and 25. They are approximately 5-feet, 8 inches to 6-feet tall. Both were wearing sweatshirts with hoods and dark colored pants, according to investigators.

The stolen vehicle has 33-inch Kanati mud terrain tires, 20-inch black OEM Grand Cherokee wheels, a black soft-top, factory half-doors, red-flowered seat covers, steel tube fenders, and a black Gladiator grill.

The vehicle also has a number of stickers, including Renegade stickers on both sides of the hood.
