CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office responded to a fatal bicycle and vehicle accident on Highway-17 in Ravenel, according to Public Information Officer Roger Antonio.

All northbound lanes of Highway-17 near Branton Road will be temporarily shut down, Antonio stated.

Officials stated that an alternate route for southbound traffic will be through Miley Hill Road while northbound is routed through Burbage II mobile home park.
