NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — Firefighters are working to put out a house fire in North Charleton Tuesday night.

North Charleson Fire Department and Charleston Fire Department responded to the 2000 block of Echo Avenue.

The call came in at 10:06 p.m., according to dispatch.

“Firefighters arrived on scene and found a single family residence well involved in fire,” says NCFD’s Deputy Cheif Stephanie Julazadeh. “Crews attempted an interior attack on the fire, but changed to an exterior attack when the roof was considered unstable.”
