Florence Still Bringing Heavy Rain with Potential Flooding To Parts Of The Lowcountry

Local News
Arielle's Florence update 11pm

The National Hurricane Center is no longer sending out advisories on Florence, at last update it was a Tropical Depression.

The winds across the Lowcountry will continue to decrease overnight.  Rainfall and flooding are still our concerns from Florence. Parts of Georgetown and Williamsburg counties saw more than 5-7 inches of rain, and those are the areas we expected to see additional rainfall into the next few days.

We do have a tornado watch just to our north in the Myrtle Beach area, however, a quick spin up is not completely out of the question for us. Make sure you download the Storm Team 2 app for all watches/warnings.

Florence will continue to slowly move out of our area, finally getting picked by a front on Tuesday. This will help Florence pick up some speed as it moves into New England early next week.
