FOLLY BEACH, S.C. (WCBD) – The City of Folly Beach is looking to create new pedestrian paths in an effort to make safety a top priority.
City leaders held a formal bid for the concept plan and awarded the contract to David & Floyd.
A concept plan for those new pedestrian paths can be seen below.
The company submitted a proposal that would cost a little more than $49,000 before construction.
The city already put aside about $60,000 for that part of the project.
City Council is expected to discuss the project during a council meeting scheduled for Tuesday night.
