Gala raising funds, awareness for Habitat

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (PRESS RELEASE) – Habitat for Humanity of Berkeley County, hosts their popular Framing the Future Annual Gala at Trident Tech College Center on Friday, October 12, 2018.

We are immensely excited to announce our Keynote Speaker this year, Dr. Toni Flowers, VP & Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer of Roper St. Francis. Dr. Flowers is a seasoned healthcare executive with proven outcomes in the areas of health equity, organizational culture change and population health. Toni is an award winning diversity professional that has been recognized as a national leader in the work to ensure health care equity for underserved populations. Most recently, she was acknowledged by Becker’s Hospital Review as one 50 Great African American Leaders in Healthcare to Know.

“We are looking forward to hosting our Framing the Future Gala and hosting Dr. Toni Flowers, our Keynote Speaker” said Berkeley Habitat President & CEO George Druyos.  “We are proud to serve the wonderful community of Berkeley County and are very grateful for all who help support our mission. All proceeds from our Gala will go directly to help build more affordable homes in Berkeley County and to help our community be a blessing to others for years to come”.

The black tie optional event will feature artfully crafted dinner, locally sourced desserts and libations. Our unique silent, and live auction will be emceed by Rebecca Collett from WCBD and Jessica Chandler from Kick’n Country 92.5.
