Georgetown Co. Sheriff’s Office investigating death of homeless man

GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCBD) – The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a homeless man. 

According to GCSO, the man’s body was found Sunday near Murrells Inlet. 

Deputies were called to the scene of two tents erected near a building that is part of a strip mall off Old Kings Highway near the Georgetown-Horry County line.

This is an ongoing investigation and anyone with information is asked to call (843) 546-5102.
