GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office charged a 10-year-old student at Waccamaw Intermediate School with student threats Tuesday.
According to GCSO, the child was detained after the school resource officer and an investigator learned of the threats. The child was detained until being released to his parents.
“No weapons were found at the school, and it is operating under normal conditions.”
No students or staff were in danger, deputies said.
