Deputy terminated following arrest and violation of the Horry County Noise Ordinance

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – The Horry County Police Department received a noise complaint shortly before 6 p.m. on May 2, from Meadowsweet Drive in Myrtle Beach.

According to officials, Alex Christian Gregory, 25, was detained.

Officers said Gregory became disorderly during their investigation, and he was placed under arrest for violation of the Horry County Noise Ordinance and Public Disorderly Conduct.

Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office has received the incident report from Horry County Police Department detailing the actions of Alex Gregory and based on his disorderly behavior his employment as a deputy sheriff has been terminated.
