GCSO: Man arrested for criminal sexual conduct with a minor, credit card fraud

GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCBD) – The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man on charges of criminal sexual conduct with a minor, third degree.

Jamar Cochran (29) of Hemingway was arrested on Tuesday following an investigation, stemming from accusations of him having sexual relations with a 15-year-old girl during September of 2019.

Cochran is also accused of credit card fraud.

He is currently being held at the Georgetown County Detention Center, awaiting a bond hearing.
