Georgetown City Hall closes to the public due to COVID-19 exposure

UPDATE: City leaders say City Hall will remain closed to the public until further notice due to a COVID-19 exposure earlier this week.

GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCBD) – The City of Georgetown announced Wednesday it was temporarily closing city hall due to a COVID-19 exposure.

Officials say the exposure happened on Tuesday.

City hall will be closed to the public through Friday, August 20th, and said: “The situation will be reassessed over the weekend” to determine if it will reopen to the public by Monday.
