GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) - The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a Hemingway man.
According to a press release issued by GCSO, 41-year-old James Walker was involved in an altercation on Friday in the Knox Swamp section of Georgetown county and was later found deceased at his home.
Walker was transported to Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
It is not known if Walker's death is directly related to the altercation.
An autopsy is scheduled.
