GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD)- The Georgetown County School District announced classes will resume on Monday, October 1st.
Schools within the county are preparing to operate on a normal schedule. GCSD says any students with flooding or transportation issues are excused.
Due to evacuation notices and flooding preparations, the Georgetown County School District has been closed since Monday, September 24th. Some schools were used as public shelters, housing for first responders, and disaster recovery centers.
