Goose Creek PD asking public’s help on locating missing person

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCBD) – The Goose Creek Police Department is asking the public’s help on locating a missing person.

Melvin Jefferson was last seen wandering around the area of Captain D’s on US Hwy 52 in  Goose Creek at approximately 7:30 p.m., on September 19. Jefferson left the residence on foot, authorities stated.

He was  last seen wearing a yellow baseball cap, light blue polo shirt, and black pants and shoes. Jefferson also suffers from dementia and wanders away from his residence, which is in the Greenview subdivision.

Jefferson has been entered into NCIC as a missing person. If  you come into contact with him, please notify the Goose Creek Police Department 843‐5724300.
