GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCBD) – On Wednesday at 3:24 a.m., officers responded to a community in Goose Creek in reference to tampering with motor vehicles, according to the incident report.
After the investigation officers made contact with the victims and advised that the she discovered that two unknown suspects were in the area pulling on door handles and attempting to enter vehicles. After reviewing the video surveillance and observed that the suspect was attempting to enter several vehicles, authorities added.
Officials stated that all the vehicles were secured and parked in the driveway, therefore no entry was gained.
After further review of the video, it revealed that the suspect had an accomplice which can be seen standing in the driveway across the street in the 100 block of Mallory Drive.
Another incident happened on the same day but at approximately 2:50 a.m., which appears to be the same suspects trying to force their way into vehicles at another residence.
The victim stated that his wife had looked at their security camera footage after seeing a post on Facebook from another Crowfield Plantation resident advising that people were tampering with vehicles on the same date.
The video shows the suspects attempting to enter two other vehicles in the driveway, but were unable too, due to the vehicles being locked.
