Guns and drugs seized over the weekend by N. Charleston PD

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Officers with the North Charleston Police Department have seized multiple guns and drugs from over the weekend.

On February 1st, Officers, were dispatched to the Charleston Inn and Suites Hotel in the 3600 block of Dorchester Road in reference to numerous calls about shots fired at the hotel.  Officers reviewed camera footage from the business that showed a male as well as a female subject discharging firearms, according to Public Information Officer Spencer Pryor.  Officers made contact with the female in a room that she was occupying.  A handgun was subsequently found.

Brittany Nicole Fleck was charged with Possession of a Stolen Handgun, Pryor stated.  Investigators continue to search for the male subject.

On February 2nd, Officers were dispatched to a verbal domestic in the 3700 block of Dorchester Road.  The victim stated that the suspect was occupying a blue Ford Crown Victoria and was armed with a pistol.  The news release stated that while responding, Officers observed a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle description leaving the area at a high rate of speed. The vehicle came to a stop on Gary Drive and officers located a firearm discarded in the parking lot of 3830 Dorchester Road, Pryor stated.

Inahia D. Moody was charged with DUS 1st, Unlawful Carry, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.  

On February 3rd, Officers were investigating a suspicious vehicle in the 6600 block of Rivers Avenue.  As they approached they observed a male and female suspect in the driver’s seat of the car.  When they made contact with the male they observed a handgun laying on the floorboard next to his foot, according to authorities. He was removed from the vehicle and taken into custody.  

Serjio Valente Garcia was charged with Unlawful Carry of a Pistol, Possession by a Prohibited Person, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of MDMA.  Methamphetamine and MDMA were located at the Detention Center in a hidden pocket inside his pants.
