CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Charleston County organizations are closing/rescheduling meetings ahead of severe weather expected Thursday.

Charleston County
- Charleston County Government offices will close at 1:00 p.m. Thursday. Meetings will be rescheduled.
- Charleston County public library branches will close at 1:00 p.m. Thursday
- North Charleston offices will close at 1:00 p.m. Thursday
- City of Charleston offices will close at 2:00 p.m.
- All Charleston County Parks will close at 1:00 p.m. but the Campground at James Island County Park will remain open to registered guests
- All Town of Mount Pleasant admin offices and recreation facilities will close at 2:00 p.m.
Dorchester County
- Dorchester County offices, courts, and convenience sites will close at 12:00 p.m. Thursday. “Residents and business owners are asked to secure furniture and other loose items outside that could become projectiles, and bring pets indoors.”
- All Town of Summerville facilities will close at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Berkeley County
- All Goose Creek city offices and facilities will close at 1:00 p.m.
- The city’s Crowfield Golf Club golf course and driving range will close at 2 p.m.; the golf club bar & grill will remain open from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Businesses
- Charleston Allergy will close all offices at 12:30 p.m.
- The South Carolina Aquarium will close at 2:00 p.m.
- Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum will close at 1:00 p.m., the last ticket will be sold at 11:30 a.m. Additionally, the PPDA Committee meetings schedule has also been changed. The Development Committee is cancelled. The Facilities and Operations Committee will meet at 1:30 p.m.
- The Gibbes Museum of Art will close at 2:00 p.m.
