- A suspect arrested after leading authorities on a chase through Charleston and Berkeley Counties Sunday. Police say it all started when 33 year old David Lathan stole a truck from Charleston Fire Station 13 on James Island.
- The investigation continues this morning in a deadly crash on Highway 17 in Ravenel. According to the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office, a bicycle and car collided about half a mile of Highway 165 Saturday.
- The White House warns President Trump will issue his first veto if congress does not approve his emergency declaration. The President plans to take $8 Billion for his border wall. That money is already allocated for other projects.
- Reforms are in the works for electric cooperatives in South Carolina. A bill introduced at the State House would allow the Office of Regulatory staff to review the co-ops for the first time. Regulatory staff would not have the authority to question or change rates.
- Lawmakers are considering consolidating school districts in an effort to fix South Carolina’s troubled education system. At least 3 bills filed this session proposes this to cut the costs and offer more resources.
- You can enroll in TSA Pre-Check today outside AAA in Summerville. A mobile enrollment RV will be there from 9:00am to 12:00pm and again from 1:00pm to 5:00pm today through Thursday. It costs $85.00 to have pre-check for 5 years.
