Mt. Pleasant PD searching for suspect following Armed Robbery at Harris Teeter

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – On November 4, 2018, at approximately 1:07 p.m., officers from the Mount Pleasant Police Department responded to an armed robbery at Harris Teeter located at 1981 Riviera Drive. 

The suspect approached the pharmacy where he showed the clerk that he had a weapon in his waistband, according to Public Information Officer Chip Googe. He then left the scene with an undisclosed amount of medicine, Googe added. 

The news release stated that the suspect is described as a white male who is approximately between 20 to 30 years old. He is approximately 5’10” in height and weighs approximately 160 to 170lbs.

This case is still under investigation and further information will be released as it becomes available.
