N. Charleston PD investigating shooting at Citgo gas station on Rivers Ave

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The North Charleston Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at the Citgo gas station on Rivers Avenue on November 21st, according to the incident report.

Officers stated in the report that they located 14 rifle shell casings on scene. Authorities spoke to two witnesses as well as the manager of the store. Witnesses stated that there was a grey or dark blue SUV parked near pump 3 and after hearing the shots it took off at a high rate of speed.

Detectives observed the surveillance video from the store and it shows that a light colored sedan was parked at pump 3 and and the Chevrolet Equinox that was parked at pump 6.

The incident report states that the sedan leaves and approaches the exit, a male is observed exiting the SUV and firing at the sedan. Authorities stated that it appears that the suspect may have been shot as well.
