N. Charleston PD investigating shooting incident that occurred on Monday

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The North Charleston Police Department responded to a call in reference to shots being heard in the 1200 block of East Montague on November 19, according to the police report.

Officers made contact with the victim and she stated that at approximately 10:50 p.m., she was in her bedroom when she heard multiple “pop” sounds outside of her home, the incident report stated.

The report added that she observed a hole in her wall and officers noticed a bullet hole near the window in the dining room.

Officers found two 9mm rounds in the lane outside, one 9mm round on the corner of Chesterfield Road and East Montague, and 10 additional 9mm rounds, two 762 Cal Rifle rounds, nine 5.56 Cal Rifle rounds were located in the park circle area towards West Montague.
