HANAHAN, S.C. (WCBD) – Hanahan now has a locally owned independent pharmacy. Hanahan Mayor Minnie Newman, Berkeley County Supervisor-elect Johnny Cribb, and other city officials joined Tommy & Elizabeth Cammer to cut the ribbon at their new Cammer’s Pharmacy.

Tommy & Elizabeth are both graduates of Hanahan High School and are excited to be able to help their community stay healthy.

Tommy says, “Elizabeth has been a pharmacist for 15 years and has wanted to start her very own pharmacy for some time now”.

Elizabeth saw a need to offer more personal service without the long lines. She believes it’s important to have a relationship with her customers. “I want to keep a closer eye on my customers, to help them stay healthy.”

Cammer’s Pharmacy offers prescription medications, vitamins, first aid, cold meds, pain meds as well as a huge selection of medical equipment. They do have delivery available if needed. Tommy says, “If you have health challenges, and you can’t get to us, we’ll come to you.”

Cammer’s Pharmacy is located in the Piggly Wiggly shopping center at 1298 Yeamans Hall Road in Hanahan. Their phone number is (843) 207-4087
