Local News

CHARLESTON, SC (WCBD) – A special meeting will be held Wednesday night to discuss a proposed waterfront hotel in downtown Charleston.

The hotel would be built near Fleet Landing and port building on Concord Street.

City of Charleston’s Board of Architectural Review is expected to discuss a preliminary approval for the new hotel during that special meeting.

Designs plans show the hotel would include ground-level shops, corner café, and a rooftop bar.

That meeting will get underway at 8:30 p.m. at 2 George Street.
