One person injured following shooting in Charleston County

JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – Deputies say one person is injured following a shooting in James Island.

The shooting happened on Saturday, November 28 at around 1:00 pm on Seaside Lane.

They one person was shot in the leg and transported to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Terrance McKelvey, 36, was arrested in connection to the shooting.

He’s facing charges of Attempted Murder, Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime, Possession of Ecstasy, and Contempt of Court.

The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
