Pedestrian hospitalized after being struck by vehicle in Mt. Pleasant

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – The Mount Pleasant Police Department responded to a victim being struck by a vehicle on February 17th, according to the incident report.

The report stated that the vehicle was traveling north on Toler Street and proceeded to drive into the pedestrian while he was attempting to tell the vehicle to slow down. The vehicle is described as a black or blue pickup truck with a possible unknown GA tag, driven by a white male, bald, 30 to 40 years of age.

The victim was taken to the East Cooper Hospital with injuries.
