Police release surveillance photo of suspects following home invasion in N. Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The North Charleston Police Department has released a surveillance image of the home invasion that took place on Marietta Street.

These photos were obtained from the DVR at the residence, according to the press release.

Officers with the North Charleston Police Department responded to a residence in the 1600 block of Marietta Street in reference to a shooting.

Public Information Officer Spencer Pryor stated that two black males kicked open the front door of the residence and fired a shot at a dog inside.

A male victim inside the house was also shot in the leg area, Pryor stated.  The male victim was transported to a hospital for treatment and the canine was also transported to an emergency vet for treatment.  

Officials stated that the suspects were last seen fleeing towards the railroad tracks behind Greenbay Street.  

The investigation is still ongoing.
